History of cake.

 



As foodies, we all like to try the most delicious foods around the world. The world-famous dessert known as cake cannot be forgotten. There will be a piece of cake for everyone who gathered to celebrat something special. In most of the time, a piece of Cake will be served with both coffee, tea or with cold soft drinks. In the past, cake structures didn't exist, but now we still have different types of cakes to savor. 

During the Viking era, they referred to it as ka ka. It was a significant event in the history of Greek Rome. Ancient Greeks made the world's first cake, and the unique aspect is that they had a food-baking system at that time. In the meantime, they added a sweeter flavor to their cakes by using bee honey. Greek ancients made cheesecake for the very first time in the world. But according to history, the world's first fruit and nut cake baked by ancient Romans.

By the time in the 17 century, the Europeans made a complete cake for the first time. They found great ingredients, the proper temperature, and the proper time to bake the cake. As well as various kinds of shapes and icing structures also found by Europeans for the first time in the world. 

The cake is now the most popular food in the world, but it was also the most popular in the 19th century. In the early days, it was hard to find the proper ingredients for the production but after the industrial revolution cake was a business.  Another market  created for the cake ingredients. Since cake ingredients sell at a low price, everyone  concerned about baking cakes at home. 

Today we will slice the cake for every celebration, but before it sliced only for the birthday. Greeks celebrated their gods with the slice cakes. They celebrated goddess Artemis' birthday and used round-shaped cakes for the symbolic moon and candles for symbolic moonlight. 

In the 13th century, German kids sliced cakes for their birthdays. They used candles to illustrate their lives. They keep hope in their hearts when they blow out the candles. But no one exposed it until it came true. 

Why does the cake have round shapes?

This shape makes it easy to bake a cake and easy to slice in the same shape.  And also it was the traditional shape. The cake  created for God, and the round shape represents our life circle. They believed it showed the reality of our lives.
